About Me

This blog is to hold all things that are dear to my heart, and other ramblings  from here and there.... Honduras, Central America, the United States, Denver, Kentucky and everywhere in-between. What was once a space to share of my travels, now tells the story of my journey with Breast Cancer. I appreciate you reading.

Warning :) I make no apologies for grammar mistakes, misspellings and or simply thoughts that do not make sense.  But I do hope you enjoy reading........ Below some tidbits about me:

was born in Louisville, Kentucky... I left for the Colorado when I was eighteen. (college) In nearly eight years of living in Colorado, I only left the Rockies for six months to live in Amsterdam and took a short visit to graduate school in Kentucky. In August of 2012 I left my desk job to teach second grade in Central America, Honduras.  I am back in what now has become home living in Denver, Colorado and working for a private real estate investment firm.

Boundless compassion for all living beings is the surest and most certain guarantee of pure moral conduct, and needs no casuistry. Whoever is filled with it will assuredly injure no one, do harm to no one, encroach on no man's rights; he will rather have regard for everyone, forgive everyone, help everyone as far as he can, and all his actions will bear the stamp of justice and loving-kindness-- Arthur Schopenhauer

“It may take place in a foreign land or it may take place in your backyard, but I believe that we were each created to change the world for someone. To serve someone. To love someone the way Christ first loved us, to spread His light. This is the dream, and it is possible.” ― Katie J. Davis
